At Barrowford School we provide a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum.  We concentrate on the four core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Information and Communication Technology, the basic subject of Religious Education and the foundation subjects of History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education and Design Technology.

All work is carefully planned to take account of the age and ability of the children in each class and to provide continuity and progression through the school.  Children are taught through whole class lessons, group work and practical experiences and are encouraged to become independent and confident learners.
